Great experience from phone call to completion. Especially with communication from Nate and Patrick who went on to look at my computer and come up with solutions. I took my computer in for a port issue as I thought after buying extra chargers and the computer I love and had no other problems with would not charge. I was definitely nervous as I am on a tight budget and was expecting a high priceline, but no I paid for the diagnostic fee to get it looked at and Pattick asked the questions and was on my way and did let them I needed it as soon as possible. They did let me know a few people were in front of me but it should take 2-5 days. By Wednesday I got a call and was told it was the motherboard and that cleaning did not help it. I was looking at almost $600 witu replacing it and labor. Well Patrick discussed other options was up front anout everything and offered a refurbished laptop that was exactly like my computer and had same specs and transferred my data as well for almost half of the price and by noon on Thursday I walked out with whay I call my new computer. Dropped off monday afternoon and 72 hours later had the new one in my hand. No issues and even works better than my computer. I will definitely be using them again.Posted on Google

They understood the request, and even went above and beyond to test (even though i said they didn't have to) the work they did. Now my guild mates will be happy to have a tank for raid tonight. Top of the line customer support had an issue with the ram at first not allowing the computer to boot but it was easily fixed just by a phone call. They are located downtown on Church St. They repair Mac computers and they do an excellent job. They helped replace the batteries in my MacBook Pro and also helped add more memory to my laptop. They serviced my laptop very quickly, and had it ready for me the next day! Allen and Nathan were friendly and helpful. They treated me with respect and explained everything to me and were completely transparent about what was needed in order to repair my laptop. After speaking to a friend who had used the repair services before, I contacted Geek Easy. I think that a previous reviewer who described the business as "Not lightning fast, but not unreasonable" was as accurate as any. Everything was explained to me thoroughly, documentation sent to my e-mail address was clear and understandable, the repair was satisfactory, and the cost was reasonable. I'm thankful Geek Easy was able to fix my Macbook Pro, but it didn't go as I expected. 1: My laptop was making a loud sound that was obviously the fan. I took it into Geek Easy and a few days later they called, telling me they couldn't find anything wrong with it after multiple stress tests, and that it never made any unusual noises. So I went and picked it up, and within 20 minutes of using it the fan noise started up. So I took a video, emailed it to them and then they understood it need a new fan. It took a while for the new fan to come into the store, so be prepared to be without your computer for a while. 2: I was told (very clearly) that there is an upfront non-refundable fee of $50.00, and that it would cover the first $50 of whatever repair needed done, including labor. But when I went to pick up my laptop I was informed that's not the case, the $50 is for labor only. Not any replacement parts. So I paid $50 for labor, and $42 for a refurbished replacement fan.Posted on YelpSusan M.March 26, 2017My husband and I have used Geek Easy several times over the past few years. They are excellent! Much better than Geek Squad, and I love being able to support a small, local business. My old laptop had frozen and they determined my hard drive was disintegrating. They were able to recover all the data from my hard drive before it died, and then took care of getting my new laptop set up for me. What they charged was so reasonable! I'm certain I would have paid twice as much if I had gone to Best Buy. They are also great about follow-up services. New connections couldn't be made, etc. After talking with Nate and Silvano, they directed me to a different router brand. One they support and I was able to pick up for $25.00. Gary L.April 4, 20124/2/12 I wanted to upgrade my MacBook's RAM from 2 GB to 4 GB. I had check some Internet sites concerning DIY memory upgrades. I was rather hesitant about doing it myself. While taking the back off seemed simple enough to do. Also slipping the memory in and out of the mount also seemed like something I could do. I thought, what if the MacBook refuses to boot up, or did not recognize the memory installed. I checked Poynt and found Geek Easy. I sent off an email to Silvano Vanegas. He explained that he does work on MACs as well PCs. He also explained he thought my Mac might also be able to upgrade to 8 GB. The price quoted was well on par with me doing the upgrade myself at 4 GB. But he could give me another 4 GB plus the peace of mine of knowing a qualified tech. did the upgrade. I was all set to go to Geek Easy. However my own time constraints prevent me from doing it right then. I received another email from Silvano a short time later telling me that he had discovered the memory price had went DOWN. Well this was amazing, because I was all set to go with the original quote, which was an absolutely great deal. But the price WENT DOWN. That is awesome. How many places would give you a quote and then let you know it was going to be cheaper. I'll bet not many, if any. Took the MacBook in and it was installed bunny quick. The tech. was out with my laptop and I was on my way. Walk ins are no problem. The staff is friendly, personable, quick, and very knowledgeable! 4/3/12 The evening of 4/3/12 I was enjoying my newly installed RAM from Geek Easy Computers. I needed to plug the laptop in. I discovered the power cord would not charge. The thought of driving to Grand Rapids to the Apple Store or to Mishawaka, In was not something I relished doing. Especially at $4.00 a gallon. I sent an email to Silvano to see if Geek Easy Computers might have a new or used charger. Now I sent this email at nearly 11:00pm. I never expected him to reply minutes later. He did and he informed me he carried a new charger at a fraction of the cost the Apple Store would charge me. Plus, I did not have to drive to GR. I stopped in at Geek Easy and sure enough I was in and out of there within a few minutes. The charger purchased was identical to the OEM. Look no further for a GREAT place to take your laptop, desk top, PC or MAC! They can fix it, repair it, or tell you they can or cannot. No fuss, great prices, friendly and fast. Geek Easy got back to me in record time (48 hours) and had a full list of prices/recommendations for a new hard drive that was compatible with my laptop. Within a week, my laptop went from junk to hunk due to the diligence of Geek Easy and the supportive staff. Without Silvano I would have been up a creek!
