Home User Maintenance

Like any other substantial investment such as a vehicle or a home, owning a computer comes with responsibility to maintain it in order for it to perform as it was designed to do.  Unfortunately most computer owners are either uninformed of this, think its relatively unimportant, or just don’t have the knowledge to provide this maintenance.

The solution?  Well you can always take your computer to your local computer repair experts, such as Geek Easy Computers, whenever you have an issue, but that’s a reactive solution. Maintaining your computer is a preventative measure; meaning it’s intended to stop most problems before they occur, and alert you to problems before they become worse.

 

Thus in our effort to make your technology easier for you, Geek Easy Computers has developed a service to take care of that maintenance for you!  Introducing the Home User Maintenance Program.  Basically this is a regular maintenance program for residential clients that involves monitoring and regular PC maintenance in one monthly package. It’s like an ongoing tune-up where we not only see alerts from problems (and can react to them quickly), but also keep the computer running well.

 

Here’s how it works:  First we install our customized monitoring/diagnostic software on your computer.  This allows us to access your computer via the Internet to easily perform other tasks and diagnostic activities. Then every 4th Friday of the month, we will remotely connect to your computer and perform the following actions:

 

  • Hard Disk drive defragmentation and optimization

  • Hard Disk drive health status check

  • Unnecessary Start-Up items removed

  • Unneeded temporary files removed

  • Removal of adware toolbars from browser

  • Temperature check (to detect overheating issues)

 

We will provide you with reports of each remote session where we list what was done, any recommendations we see and any other things you should be aware of.  We will also follow up with a call that Monday after the session to discuss any issues found, address any concerns you have, and to get general feedback.

 

You get all of this stellar service for a low monthly fee, which is a substantial savings over paying for these services separately.
